VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TO GET OUT THE VOTE

current volunteer opportunities

Got a volunteer opportunity that you would like us to list here?

Send us an email with the details: otsegodemocrats@gmail.com.

Election Day is almost here, and the final hours are when we can make the biggest difference. We’re organizing a phone bank to call Otsego County voters who haven’t voted yet and encourage them to get to the polls before they close.

Can you join us?

When: Tuesday, November 3, 3:30–7:30 PM
What: Calling Otsego County voters who haven’t voted yet to remind and encourage them to vote
Shift: If you can, please plan to stay for the whole 3:30–7:30 shift. It makes a big difference in how many voters we reach.

You’ll have everything you need. We’ll give you a script, call lists, and step-by-step instructions. No experience needed!

Training: We’ll hold a short Zoom training on Monday, November 2 at 6:00 PM to walk through everything and answer questions. We’ll send the Zoom link to everyone who signs up.

With the election right around the corner, it's crucial that we talk to our Democratic-leaning neighbors about how they're casting their ballot by Election Day. This work is how Governor Hochul, Congressman Josh Riley, and ALL down ballot Democrats will win. Training will be provided at the beginning of the event. Whether you're a seasoned volunteer or this is your first time, everyone is welcome!
